This award winning project first started with an extensive feasibility on the integrity and former use of the existing building to see if it could be transformed and function as a pivotal base for the ASTERIA group. The Executive and the Board had a strong vision that this building would strengthen the ASTERIA brand. The slides in the photo gallery indicate the extent of the challenges faced to transform a neglected factory and office site into a modern vibrant head office and factory. This transformation comes from the interplay of steel, glass and warm textures through the addition of the feature blade wall with custom windows. The proportion and sheer size of the Korten™ steel wall prominently placed at the entrance to the office captures the quintessential design relationship between industrial design and commercial office design.

This project illustrates the capability and competence of our design office in the treatment of every aspect of commercial and industrial design projects.

The new design increased the footprint and improved access and safety throughout the building.
